Pre Booking Info
(Please read carefully before submitting a request.)
✦ I am a flash only artist. This means I will only have pre drawn designs available to tattoo and do not accept custom tattoo design ideas, reworks or cover ups. You can see all available designs in my Flash Instagram story highlight.
How do I book a tattoo with you?
✦ To book please send me an email inquiring about the flash design you are interested in using the messaging box located in the Contact section of my website.
✦ Once I receive your email I will send you my intake from to fill out with all your basic information.
✦ Once I receive your intake form and we are able to proceed I will request your non refundable deposit.
✦ When I receive your deposit I will send you my online scheduler where you can pick a date/time from my availability.
Rate & Payment
✦ My current rate is $170/h +gst per tattoo. %60 of this goes to me, %40 to the shop. I get to keep 100% of my tips. Tipping is appreciated but is not obligatory!
✦ I require a $50 non refundable deposit to secure your appointment. This is sent via etransfer. This amount will come off the total of the tattoo the day of the appointment. If you cancel for any reason within 24 hours of your appointment I keep this deposit and you will be required to send another deposit to rebook.
✦ Hemlock is a cash only. Please grab sufficient cash before your appointment. You will be required to pay in full the day of your appointment.
Heath and Safety
✦ We no longer require masks at Hemlock. If you would prefer that myself and other staff/clients be masked during your appointment, please let me know.
✦ Please come alone to your appointment. If you need to bring someone, please contact me ahead of time so we can try to accommodate them safely.
✦ Hemlock Tattoo has strict safety and conduct policies for both clients and staff. Hemlock Tattoo does not tolerate the discrimination on the basis of race, colour, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, martial status, sexual orientation, etc. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all staff and clients.
General Shop Info
✦ I am located at Hemlock Tattoo, unit 1 - 1111 3 Street SE. Enter through the front door with the H on it and turn left. Do not park in the parking lot directly behind the building, you could get towed. There is paid street parking (up to 4 hours) along 3rd street and 10th, 11th and 12th Ave.
How Should I Prepare For My Appointment?
✦ Bring comfortable clothes that will allow access to the area of your body that you want tattooed. Please make sure you have eaten and are well hydrated prior to your appointment. Feel free to bring a water bottle and snacks. Get a good nights rest and do not consume alcohol the night before.
After Care
✦ I suggest a product called Aquaphor for the healing process. If you want to use this product you can grab it anytime before the appointment so it is ready for use after your appointment. You can find it in the lotion aisle at the drug store or it can also be ordered online.
My Personal Boundaries
✦ In effort to maintain a healthy work/life balance, advocate for my own mental health and prevent burn out I do have personal boundaries regarding my tattoo practice that I ask to be respected.
1. I kindly request that clients avoid discussing potentially sensitive topics during their appointment. This request is made to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone in the shop, including myself. If you feel the need to discuss a sensitive topic, I would appreciate it if you could ask for my consent beforehand.
2. I am currently not doing custom work, reworks of existing tattoos or coverups. I am unable to take on the extra workload and time that that these projects require while I am still managing Hemlock and running my other business.
3. Please be considerate of my time and inform me as early as possible if you need to cancel. Even if it's last-minute, please notify me. You are not obligated to provide a reason or explanation if you're uncomfortable doing so. I won't be upset; I simply prefer to know in advance so I can manage my schedule effectively. If you fail to show up without any communication, future bookings with me will not be possible.
